2. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information to: • Create and manage your OakTix account. • Process ticket purchases and issue QR-coded tickets via email. • Notify event organizers of ticket sales and attendee registrations. • Verify the identity of organizers and professionals (KYC compliance). • Process payouts to organizers after successful events. • Send transactional emails including booking confirmations, event reminders, and account notifications. • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access. • Comply with applicable Nigerian laws and regulations, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023. • Improve our platform, features, and user experience.
